In an article on the place, they said it was going to be a replica of thier driftwood location, and yes they will smoke onsite.

My husband heard or read that they lost their lease. It wasn't that they wanted to leave. They weren't renewed because developers are going to bulldoze that bldg and build a hotel. That's the rumor anyway.

Has anyone else noticed this trend? Also referring to Kerby Lane moving. Most of the "Austiny" restaurants are moving from Central locations to locations outside the city. The Catfish Parlour, Threadgill's (even though they still have locations closer), salt lick, and some of the newer business ventures in the suburbs have been opened by people who own businesses inside of Austin. Is it because of the rebuilding, esp. the amount of condo projects, pushing them out?

Default Can't Wait Either!!!

Ate at the Driftwood location last week for the first time. OMG what great taste and pleasant people. Our server told us they had run into a few difficulties with the RR consutruction, but they were scheduled to open August 15th.
See you in line!!!!
