I hope you all can help and give me more suggestions on pre-schools in the area. We just moved to Steiner Ranch and I've looked into Rising Stars and School in the Hills, but both have extensive waiting lists. I also visited Primrose and Children's Courtyard, but wasn't incredibly impressed with them. I need to get my daughter into a full-time program soon and was hoping to get more suggestions.

We'd like to get her into a Montessori program, but it sounds like they're all out of the way. We'll be working off of Burnet Road, so I wouldn't mind even doing something out that way, or at least on the way there.

Thanks in advance for your help!

We were at the Primrose on Vista Ridge out off of 1431 in Cedar Park and we had a great experience and my son loved it.

Two of my children have been through the First Foundations program. www.firstfoundations.com
They are located on the NE corner of Anderson Mill/Volente and 620, directly behind Johnny Carino's and Wendy's.
It is not a Preschool/Daycare. It is a 4 hour Preschool program with m,w,f and t,th classes. The older 4's have the option of a 5 day program. This would be appropriate for a child that has a summer birthday and you're not ready to send them to kindergarten or they miss the Sept. 1st cut off.
They recently expanded with an addition to their building and they are taking applicants. They were full in February (for the upcoming fall) but now have 4 more classrooms, thus now they are registering again. I have been totally thrilled with this program. Steffani Wilkins is the owner/director and is a lovely woman who really cares for the students.
Good Luck!
