Hi I have been trying to look at internet and cable packages to compare deals and I will be living in 78726. The only place I can seem to find is Time Warner that is availabe for service in 78726. Does anyone know if other companies service that area? I am trying to get the best deal I can.

Check Broadband Reports. That's the only really comprehensive source of which I'm aware.

Hi. I just recently moved into that zip myself. I live in an apt. complex and they will allow Dish and they came out here to check my reception. Unfortunately, b/c of the way my balcony faces, they couldn't install so I am stuck with Time Warner. God they are going to be the end of me-mellow-dramatic I know but that's how much I hate them. They make fun of satellite for going out in the rain, which is true, but TW goes out in perfect weather. The problem is the converter boxes they use are pieces of junk!

Point being Dish is available out here and I miss them. Did they go out in the rain-yes of course, but other than that their service was great as was their DVR. TW DVR is a joke and they charge and arm and a leg for it.

I have never been with DirectTV, but I know many that love it and have left Dish for them, so you may want to try them as well.

God that felt good to get off my chest.

Just got a postcard from TW stating that their bundle (expanded basic, Internet, phone, HDDVR) is going up to $159/mo. My ass is sore from that.

have you checked grande communications?

www.grandecom.com and you can enter your zip and address to see if your area is serviceable.
