I'm probably wasting everones (including mine) time here. The person who posted these on Flickr originally answered my question with the reply posted above. This person lives in France but has the monicker AustinEvan. When I tried to reply to his reply to inquire further about the exact location, I found that he had blocked me from contacting him. Strange. (Only contacted him once asking where exactly the pics were taken). He does, however, have other pictures posted that were clearly taken around Austin and seems to be famililar with the Hamilton Pool area.

Either this place is real, or this guy is pretty bizarre and making this up for WHO knows why.

It is owned by Karl Lagerfeld who was hosting the Art Center Reunion where we took the photos. They have done alot of work there and told me it was one of the casserns used by French Legation in the 18th century. There is also a beautiful roman-style aquaduct on the same property. I can't say for certain how authentic it is but it certainly looks great. To get there you take hamilton pool road and about 30 minutes past Hamilton Pool you'll on the left there is a beautiful gate (white marble). This is the home of the Lagerfeld's. The village, casserns, and aquaduct are found there.
I think he is pulling your leg. The closest structures or streets that I have seen similar to that are in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico.
