I've made some great contacts through Heart Link, it's a nationwide women's networking group with chapters in our area. They have a neat format and besides growing my own business I've found out about some interesting products and services through attending the meetings. The last one I went to had a hula hoop fitness trainer, personal organizer, spa consultant, Tupperware consultant, kid's themed birthday party planner, etc etc Here's the NW Austin one. There isn't one in Round Rock.

We also have the GWEN meetings regularly in Austin, the Global Women's Entrepreneur Network. Playful, cooperative and supportive, we create trusting business relationships which form the basis of all prosperous and sustainable enterprises. Needn't be an entrepreneur, but want to learn to do business in a feminine way, rather than a competitive manner as well as support other women to make their dreams come true, while receiving support to do the same.
