Is there currently (Dec 09) a big Christmas store in Austin? The kind where they have every ornament you could possibly think of? Thanks.

The Christmas Store in Capital Plaza Shopping Center is no longer there. I am not sure if they moved to another location or just closed down......

Frills in Taylor turns into a "Christmas Store" this time of year. They have some really nice things. It may be a tad bit of a drive for you, but they really do have all sorts of Christmas ornaments and decorations.

We've resorted to buying our kids ornaments via ebay.... not as fun but cheaper. Every year our kids get Radko ornaments and they have very nice Texas ornaments.

Surprisingly we have had no broken ornaments yet.
