Wikipedia has nice maps of what goes where by googling each of the nesias, of course Indonesia is not a region, its its own country.

Science is only a matter of what people think. Look at Pluto's downgrade.

On shape and area, Australia is more like an island than a continent. I know what is taught at school but I'm afraid I have divergent opinion to my masters.

Lol, I was just about to make a comment about learning that we had 9 planets as scientific fact when I was little but you beat me to it.

No, names, and that includes scientific names, are only a matter of what people think.

Whether the airplane taking you across the ocean, to whichever continent you like, will fly or not isn't a matter of just what people think.

A rose by any other name would smell as sweet.

For continents it is a matter of naming conventions or general idea's though. Closest to the scientific definition of a continent would be the tectonic plate it is on but then Europe and most of Asia would be one continent. India would be its own continent.

Oh for goodness sake, did no-one pay attention during their geography classes?

New Zealand is a series of 3 islands, it is not a continent and it is not part of Australia.

'New Zealand is not on the same continental shelf and so is not part of the continent of Australia but is part of the submerged continent Zealandia. Zealandia and Australia together are part of the wider region known as Oceania or Australasia.'

Do some reading, get some education. By continuing to state NZ is part of Australia and Australia isn't a continent yada yada, you make yourself out to be a completely uneducated twit.
