To add you seem to think that the court has absolutely no jurisdiction to over rule the minister? If so I can't believe we have gone through 13 pages of posts with that premises?

That is far more North Korea than Australia.

Of course the federal court can Overrule the ministers decision. One of the basic duties of the federal court is to hold the government accountable and make sure they are applying their own statutes correctly. Sometimes these immigration cases go in favor of the government and sometimes they go in favor of the other party. The minsters decision is certainly not final.

My understanding is the ruling by the federal judges was that the minister had the sole authority to make the decision to cancel Novak’s visa. If you have further information, please post.

Your understanding is completely wrong, if you have further information to support your argument please post. Other wise I might advise you stick to investment tips and retired life in North Carolina.

I asked you to substantiate your assertions with a link to help me understand. I guess you’re unwilling to do so or don’t have the information. BTW, you’re advice on where to post is inappropriate.

"When it comes to tennis, the Aussies know how to return a Serb."

Actually ministers themselves have felt uncomfortable with the powers they hold. The lack of transparency and accountability and lack of appeal rights.
Evans was the Minister back in 2008 who expressed discomfort. ALP's attempts to reform these powers came to nothing having minority status in Parliament at the time.

"Whiteness" is a modern obsession from the US. Most of the world isnt as obsessed about this "White vs non-white" phenomena.
Serbians until not long ago were included into the "Wog" label in Australia, hence target of discrimination.
