Have not seen anything about Newman and his Caterpillar sponsorship, so far.

Pick two from Bowman, Blaney, Johnson and Bowyer. Though, mathematically, anyone from 5th to 12th could fall out.

Since it is a road course and it being a new track, I put my money on experience and say Johnson and Bowyer will do well here and make it through.

Experience means nothing when the rookie beside you takes you out.

It'll be interesting to see this.. I'm excited to watch this race. They wrecked a bunch in the first testing at the Roval.. We'll see how it goes with 40 cars out there at once.

The great thing.. I think this would be an excellent race to watch at Charlotte.. Better than most road courses because it's so compact. Sitting in the stands, you should be able to see the entire course.

It was mentioned on RaceHub the other night that the whole track can be seen from the front stretch grandstands.

Yeah.. Turn 4 grandstands will probably have issues seeing the road course portion.. And forget about the old Diamond Tower Terrace, if it were still there.

BTW.. There's chances of rain both days. THAT could certainly throw a huge wrinkle in the chase.

I think the Roval is here to stay. Wow.. What a final 10 laps.

I'm not a Johnson fan, and he took himself out.. But I can't imagine that Larson was making minimum speed. I can't believe the right front didn't fall off.

that was an interesting finish wasnt it? especially when larson passed earnhardt for position to put himself into the next round and eliminate johnson, due to johnsons stupidity. johnson should have been content with finishing in the points to move on, instead of going for the win. oh well live and learn.

Unfortunately, CMS will take every advantage of it they can. I see "The Winston" going to the Roval, and the 600 will somehow get worked into it as well. FWIW, the stands still were full.
