I'm curious which vehicles have lifting rear glass, independent of a hatch or tailgate.

I've seen then on S-10 based Chevy Blazers, but I don't know of any others.

Btw, did Subaru make any?

The wife's Ford Escape has a pane of glass on struts mounted in the lift gate.
One of the oldest I remember is a 1973 Volvo 1800 ES, single frameless glass with struts.

Almost all newer BMW estates has it. I think the Range Rover and TT Sport have it too.

Older (pre 2006) Hyundai Santa Fe's also have it.

1963 Merc Monterey had an electric rear window they called the "breezeway." My nanny had one. That count?

Flip-up rear windows aren't uncommon in automotive history...roll down ones a la the Turnpike Cruiser breezeway, uncommon.

The 4Runner, Sequoia and maybe Landcruiser are the only current models that has the power roll down window that I know of. Many older station wagons and older Blazers and Broncos also had them. Most suv's and a few cuv's have the lift up one. My wife's CRV has the lift up one.

An odd ball is Mitsubishi Endeavor. It is on a good used car deals list too, but don't quote me on that.
