Nice photos, Tennesseestorm. A '72 Cadillac is a great first car! That is really something with your '73 Pontiac; never having a problem with it. But I'm not surprised... any American cars of that era were very rugged.

73-79 ford fan, some good videos there. I particularly like the first one.

A high winding 385 series Ford. The BBC Chevy guys seem to fear a well built 385 series Ford truck puller as they should.

Nice videos!

Also, can you tell me how to post videos up on the threads, step by step?

My first car was a 72 Cadillac Sedan DeVille when I was 16 in 1992! We (my parents and grandparents) had the big 70s Lincolns too... grandma had a 71 Continental 4dr like the ones in the previous posts back in the 80s (which I havent had a chance to read all of yet, lol). My other grandma had a 74 Olds Toronado with the factory airbags option!
My first car was like this, except it was like new!

my old 69 Caprice

I still have these "tanks"... I have a 1972 Caprice Estate wagon (restoring), 1973 Pontiac Grand Ville (have owned since 2000 and NEVER had a problem with it) and I have a 1995 Lincoln Town Car and a 1990 Buick Century (which is a smaller car of course), but you get the idea. I have also owned 71 and 69 Caprices, 72 Electra, 71 Toronado, etc. Now I also like some of the newer cars... big and small and some trucks, (I am a fan of Toyota trucks and the old Toyota Celicas, and older Camrys, Accords, etc) but there has always been a BIG spot in my heart for the big old American cruisers and some of the classic musclecars.

I will add more later, but here are some pics of my tanks... lol

My 72 Chevy Caprice Kingswood Estate wagon
(402 engine, 9-passenger 3-seat, A/C, tilt wheel, towing package, factory AM radio )

My 1973 Pontiac Grand Ville... have owned for 10 years... often my daily driver, NEVER had a problem with it! NEVER!!!

My 1995 Lincoln Town Car... (186,000 miles, still runs perfect, NO squeaks or rattles, etc)

and my 1990 Buick Century...
(cant find a pic now)
Nice pics, including the one with the 71' Caddilac and 72' Caprice Wagon since I've like Caprices from 1971-76.

Also, like I've said in my earlier post about my Granfather owning Lincolns;

The for the first Lincoln Town Car I remember him having was a Dark Blue 1988 Town Car with the Soft-Top. Have not gave him any problems at all.

(Sorry if the car's in this photo paint didn't accuraty match the color of the car I've described)

Then he sold it and got him a Burgundy 97' Signature Series with the Soft Top and thing was so huge in the backseat area you felt like you were in a limo almost lol. And he had no problems with this car as far as know(especially since he's always been known to take good care of his cars).

(Sorry for the pictures that the car is white since my great granfather's Lincoln was Burgundy)

Matter of fact when he went to a local dealership to sell the car this lady was at the dealership looking for a car then she saw my granfather's 97' TC, she told the car salesman that she would get that car the next day...then next day she went to the dealership and put the money down for the car and got LOL.

After that, he got himself another TC and this time it was like a Peanut Butter colored one that was a 2002 Signature Series along with the Soft-Top and had no problems with it as well.

He later sold it and got himself an 07' 300C, but he said that he's thinin' about going back to the TC after he sell the 300.

she should've just bought it directly from your granddad privately. Unfortunately, there was probably thousands of dollars wasted on both ends by conducting that transaction through the dealer.
