OK, I will pay this ticket but it will never happen again. This is my 1st ever red light ticket. Good thing in IL it's only $100 vs $500 in CA!

Here in our city there are warning signs to let you know the coming intersection has speed/red light cameras. That's why I don't feel pity for those who get caught. They've been here for several years and I've never got a photo and ticket in the mail.

I've lived in So Calif most of my life. Never had a problem. I suppose if I decide to rob a bank, there would be a heavy penalty . I got around the problem by not robbing a bank....
Really a stupid thread....

You don't have to pay the ticket, red light camera have been proven illegal in most, if not all states. Read up on it, you go to court you have the right to question your accuser. You can't question your accuser, therefore the tcket will be thron out.
I have a file on RL tickets...
Several cities in my area have already unplugged the camers. Too many rear end collissions, too many mad citizens..

A few examples.. The RL ticket is easy to beat

Default I have no gripes about CA

It's a great state, beautiful place to live and call home. CA doesn't pretend to be anything but what it is. A very desirable place to live and visit, one of the premier places in the country. Stands to reason that if you break the law here, the consequences are likely to be severe and costly.

Cost of living is high for a reason. If you don't like it, choose someplace else. Your choice though doesn't make the place you choose better for everyone than CA. You broke that law, pay, and don't do it again.

You ran the red light. What's so hard to understand about that?

Good. I get tired of watching several cars at a time going through red lights. Especially in the turn lanes that have arrows. They put other peoples lives at danger. These people have no consideration for others.

Good. It is disgusting and inconsiderate to throw out your cigeratte from a car window.

Thank god you don't live remotely close to me. You are a terrible driver.
