And you are being taught differently then this in Law school ? additionally sorry to be Irritating you but fact are facts . Some times as the quote goes " you can lead some people to water , but you still can't make them drink". . End of story.
You don't know what the hell you're talking about so quit dispensing crappy legal advice all over the forums. End of story.
So, if these dudes with the unmarked tow trucks can just roll up in your neighborhood or public garage and steal your wheels, that is just bs!
This is why we need to get a nice shot gun, some great classes on how to use it... and blow some gonads off......
We just first have to figure out if the guy towing it is a crook or if he was called there by some thief to remove it from your driveway....
I believe now there's a device on the market (Lo Jack maybe) that will send you a text by phone if it detects the car is picked up and moved w/o your consent.
They just need to make one where it detects when said car gets to the chop shop...and then detonates a block of C-4 with ball bearings (like in the movie Swordfish).

And don't send me any more PMs either. They will be deleted without being read.
I've never had a tow truck driver tow one of my cars without asking for the keys (well, except for the bastard who stole my car). You would think the driver would do that much as a minimum to verify the person seeking the tow is the legitimate owner or at least has a stronger claim to right of possession than his word.
"I left them right there on the dash for you. Didn't see them? Car locked? Just drop it at the dealer and I'll give them my second set. Sorry."

To which a minimally vigilant tow truck driver would respond "I need keys in my hand or some other convincing evidence if rightful possession before I hook up the car." I can't muster up too much sympathy for a tow truck driver who finds himself in a legal pickle after taking property worth anything from a few hundred to as much as a house without anything more than the word of some guy on the phone.

That's great!
