Fair point.

Nevertheless, if your all-electric car lasts long enough, the power plant or energy processor will still eventually wear out, and "maintenance" will involve bolting in a new one. So maintenance will shift from 'a few parts at intervals' to 'the whole thing all at once', but it's still maintenance.
