I don't think so. She said she has a "gtp Pontiac" and said it had a "turbo". The G6 never came in turbo/supercharged form or had a GTP trim, only GXP.
Of course you want to rid of it. It's GM product. If you are not opposed to smaller cars, get Subaru BRZ with turbo engine. Will be helluwa more fun than your Pontiac.

No, cars like Eclipse GS-T, Civic SI, Integra while "sporty" are not Sports cars. They would be classified as "sport compacts"
