When it comes to cost and accessories, etc., Accord EX is much closer to XLE, but why is it usually compared to the LE?

I never understand posts like yours.

WHO does these comparisons that don't make sense to you? Compare the ones you think make sense.

How many Camry Vs. Accord threads are you going to start should be the real question.

Well, if you hurry up and buy one or the other, you won't have to suffer through these comparisons anymore.

I don't usually see them compared like that, but it may be where the top level Accord now is actually the "Touring" model rather than the EX.

The Accord line-up is now: LX, Sport, EX, EX-L (for the leather optioned models) and the top level Touring trim model and I think the Camry is L, LE, SE and XLE. I think that the EX-L is a little higher on the level than a Camry LE, but an EX with cloth is a little more in line with a Camry LE with some additional options added.

Do you mean comparisons done by magazines or media?

Usually they are at the mercy of what is available out of manufacturers press fleets. Maybe it is just easier for them to get those particular trim levels.
