I consider my Charger quite sporty... more so than any of the compacts Mazda3, FRS/BRZ, and Golf mentioned in this thread. I guess I'm just partial to a full size vehicle. Standing ¼-mile: 14.1 sec @ 101 mph
Top speed (governor limited): 125 mph
Braking, 70–0 mph: 159 ft
Roadholding, 200-ft-dia skidpad: 0.86 g

Charger v-6
C/D TEST RESULTS:
Zero to 60 mph: 7.2 sec
Zero to 100 mph: 18.2 sec
Street start, 5–60 mph: 7.7 sec
Top gear, 30–50 mph: 3.7 sec
Top gear, 50–70 mph: 5.3 sec
Standing ¼-mile: 15.7 sec @ 94 mph
Top speed (governor limited): 120 mph
Braking, 70–0 mph: 178 ft
Roadholding, 300-ft-dia skidpad: 0.82 g

Ouch, well, the Accord certainly has the Charger beat... So yeah, maybe you should look at an Accord.

0-60 times do not a sporty vehicle make. Importance being the handling and steering, or the Dark Side will be seeing, young Jedi.

Absolutely. I could give a rat's about 0-60 time. I didn't buy a V6 to win drag races.

Indeed, but I don't think anyone will accuse a Dodge Charger of being deft around the corners.

Also, those reports include skidpad tests - which the Accord of course did better in.

More information which I could care less about.

When I wanted something "sporty" I was referring to visual appeal... comfort, and driveability which for me is the speed limit.

Everything else such as skidpad texts and 0-60 times didn't influence my purchase at all and quite frankly I think the Charger (and Challenger for that matter) look 1000 times better than any Honda, Mazda, Kia, or VW.

The only reason I didn't get a Challenger was because I wanted 4 door instead of 2. But I know, the V6 Challengers aren't sporty either.

My apologies OP... you should probably take everyone else's advice and get an Accord.

That's fine, but also subjective. As such, I will recommend to the OP the car that gets better mileage, is faster, and handles better.

Be fair, if you test the HI-PO Honda then atleast use the HI-PO Charger!

I don't think your Honda will be able to keep up with 470 HP Hemi!
