Excellent article, I wish all states would have stricter laws for the drivers that don't free the left lane on the highway.

Does "slowly" mean at the speed limit, because I refuse to break the law.

Where do I start.

One. I read it.

Two. I looked up the organization only to discover that listening to it on this matter would be somewhat like going to the Republican Party website to get information about the wonders of the Democratic Party or to an atheist website to get information about how great religion is - in other words, it's so biased it's no more credible than reading memes on Facebook sent around by people with an ax to grind.

Three. If you are referring to me, MckinneyOwnr, and we both know you are because you have an obsession with the fact that I don't think the traffic laws that apply to everyone else don't apply to you because you're such a special special driver, to the point that you will drag it into threads that have nothing to do with that topic, I have never advocated driving "slow" in the left lane. I have simply pointed out, repeatedly and factually, that the speed limit exists in all lanes and for everyone and that anyone who drives over the speed limit should accept responsibility for the consequences to themselves and others of their chosen action. The very idea that people who choose to break the law are responsible for their actions, and that they are not seen by all as some heroic, manly hero for doing so but as, essentially, self-entitled jerks, seems to drive some who like to do that crazy, it seems - they not only want to do what they want to do but they want everyone else to admire them for it, and that's just not going to happen. It's the price of self-indulgence - a lot of people are going to realize that you're a jerk and some of them are going to say so.

I'm not terribly bothered by the clueless drivers who simply fail to remember to get back in the right lane after going around someone. The folks that make me nuts are the self appointed traffic monitors that have take it upon themselves to single-handedly determine the speedometer on their Buick Regal is calibrated accurate to the millimeter and nanosecond and by God if they are going the posed speed limit NOBODY will be a lawbreaker by going faster than they are.

Bamboo torture isn't near enough for these people.

Including the laws against obstructing traffic? Slower traffic keep right? Delay of 5 Vehicles is Illegal?

Your state probably has a law similar to this one:

RCW 46.61.427
Slow-moving vehicle to pull off roadway.

On a two-lane highway where passing is unsafe because of traffic in the opposite direction or other conditions, a slow moving vehicle, behind which five or more vehicles are formed in a line, shall turn off the roadway wherever sufficient area for a safe turn-out exists, in order to permit the vehicles following to proceed. As used in this section a slow moving vehicle is one which is proceeding at a rate of speed less than the normal flow of traffic at the particular time and place.
