Just curious if people may be brave enough to help compend a list of traffic fines: the traffic violation, the jurisdiction it was obtained in & the monetary damage meted out.

Example: 12 mph over 35-mph limit, Shavano Park, Texas $157

Why would someone have to be brave to do this?

Poor choice of words on my part. It would mean admitting that they received a traffic infraction. I apologize for the poor wording.

Okay, I totally didn't understand your point. I thought you were looking for an official listing of the fines assessed for different offenses.

Turning right on a red light in a camera controlled intersection in Hayward, CA was $450.

88 mph on I80 coming down from Donner Summit into California was $380 including traffic school.

25 over on Clearview Expy, Queens, NY (50mph limit bs, clocked by estimation, no less). Over $400 in the end (lawyer which reduced it so I didn't have to pay a 3-year fee).

22 over on LIE (everyone does 75+ on there - I just got caught doing it alone at night). Something like $150.

Expired tag - Fulton County, GA - $125
105 mph in a 55 - Fulton County, GA - $1000 fine, overnight in jail and revoked license
86 mph in a 70 - Henry County, GA - $150

Note I did have a lawyer so I didn't receive the full punishments stated above.

The last time I got a speeding ticket was back about 2002, here in WA. It was 70 in a 60, and cost me $85 though they took it off of my record without having to do traffic school because I had been a good boy for along time before that. I got pulled over just a few weeks ago for 35 in a 25 but the officer let me off with a warning.

I've been pulled over about 15 times. I've gotten 3 tickets and about a dozen warnings, for a ticket percentage of 20%. I'm curious what other people's ratio is for % of pull-overs resulting in a ticket.
