I'm fairly political, but I don't advertise my political positions on my car. The immediate area is very hostile to my sort of beliefs, and I wouldn't put it past anybody to key or otherwise damage my car because they disagreed with the sticker while I wasn't looking or otherwise unable to stop them.

It was right after 9/11 and because of GWB's response, I had one made that essentially said I was Glad Bush Won on two rows such that the Caps were double size and showed up as GWB from a distance. You can picture it.

Anyway, sometime later I passed some LWNJ(obvious by the nature of the 20-30 bumper stickers on his POS car) on a three lane interstate. He then sped up and passed me after I had gotten over, and was waving his arms, shaking his fist at me, all the while shouting something, confirming my opinion of him being a LWNJ! Couldn't hear him obviously, and I just started laughing, and laughed even more when the guy behind him passed me, who was laughing his a55 off at him as well. After that I decided it might not be a good idea to advertise my feelings on my bumper.

You got that right!
A former old neighbor lady ran into me just after the 2008 elections. She said a few days before, some enraged burly guy threatened to beat her up because she had an Obama bumper sticker. She must have been in her mid-80s then as she was older than my mother, who is now 90.

She said when she dialed 911 on her cell phone, the guy took off and burned out in the parking lot when he split.

I had some on the rear window of my SUV (college, town, etc.) which I recently removed. No more for me.

Manual transmissions and A/C that works!

I had a 74 Capri - same motor - 2.0 ltr 122 cubic inches of raw power!... lol
But it could chirp 2nd!
Weber carb and a header...

Oh yeah, this thread's about bumper stickers....

Dad had a great one - need to see it again today...
"If guns were outlawed only outlaws would have guns."
and
"I believe in gun control. I use both hands."
My 74 Pinto had the 2.3. Bought in August 86 for $300. Traded in December of same year and got $200 back! I still have a 78 Sedan parts car, and a 78 Cruising Wagon version. I still miss my 76 wagon I had from 98-05.

My in laws gave me an old car and I noticed people would tailgate like crazy so I put a sticker on the back that said, "Back off! I'm not that kind of car."

I like bumper stickers but for the most part I won't put a political/religious one. Maybe something funny or something to do with Doctor Who. Everyone likes Doctor Who, right?
