I think the price is ok, but without doing the math right now the % rate sounds high.

The price of $21k is a pretty good deal. But I'm not so sure about the financing.

I assumed a 6% Sales Tax rate and backed into a 7.9% interest rate for the 60 or 72 months loan. If your Sales Tax is higher or lower, that will have some impact. But if you have good, established credit, I'd push for a lower interest rate.

Yea.. That's what I thought so too. I end up paying about $28000 after I finish paying off the car...

No matter how you crunch the numbers, PrettyPieces . . .

As far a depreciation is concerned . . . 2015 means it is a Year Old Vehicle.

Need to know what your sales tax rate(if you're in a state that has one) is plus what fees they're including. Also if you have a decent credit score.

$18,500 at a going 1.49% for 60 months would be $320/month
$269 for 72 months

To come up with $398/month for 60 months at 1.49% would be $23,000 financed. So 25,500 with your down payment.

May be a little bit of shuffling going on here to hide something. $21k would indeed be a good price. Go get your own financing from a credit union and buy it with that so the finance guy can't jerk you around.

Do not buy Civic Hybrid. Long standing history of failed design.
That they tell you NOW it's much better means squat. They killed the model because of issues and brought it back because everyone else is doing hybrids, so you want to be a guinea pig?
Buy a Prius and be happy.

Yeah, seriously. They changed battery, as that was the main issue, but Honda is also using what is called "mild hybrid" and mpg is not that much stellar.
I LOVE hybrids. I own two. But they are both Toyota - Camry and Highlander and I'd buy another one from Toyota without hesitation. Not so much from anyone else.
Buy Prius. Your hunch is right - if it's a "good deal" something is always causing it and never good.
