I saw a newer C63 AMG while I was heading home from work ...interestingly enough the person was driving 30 in a 45mph and people were getting pissed off and flying around him cutting him off. All he really had to do was lightly press the gas pedal and he'd be on their ass in no time. lol
went down a dead end road just now cause i know there is a 65 convertible stang sitting on blocks in a hidden drive that has been there many years .. due to die off of foliage i was able to spot a 54 2 door chevy behind the house i had never noticed before .. no telling what is hidden away all over the place ,,,
Couldn't believe my eyes this morning on the commute. A late seventies VW Rabbit hauling hiney down the expressway. Must have been doing at least 70 since he zipped passed me and was gone in no time. Looked pretty good too.
The only...interesting...cars that I observed in my neck of the woods today were...
...a couple of Porsche Panameras
...the usual assortment of Tesla Type-S sedans
...a few Maseratis...whose type I was unable to determine.
I'm in the market for a newer Lexus RX but every time I see one with the new front grille style coming at me I can't help but think of Darth Vader- I just don't know if I can drive that thing.
Didn't see anything particularly interesting on the road today, but when I went to pick up my car at the shop, they had a nice '57 Chevrolet in one of the bays.
There's a fully-restored Ford Pinto in our parking lot.
A Seattle shipyard we work out of has a classic Pinto parked there every time I visit. It's in beautiful shape, much better than what I remember of the countless others I saw back in the 70's and 80's.
