- A C8 Corvette…..all black….. black wheels, black trim, black body, black spoilers, black interior……..all black…..except…..the brake calipers on all four wheels were yellow (which could be seen through the wheels).
- A current Ford Ranger with very, very high aftermarket lift and aftermarket wheels and tires…… wider and larger than are available from the factory.
- I don't see that many Civic Type-Rs, but I saw three in about a 45 minute span. One was getting a ticket from a State Trooper .
- A white GT3 (in the northbound left turn lane on Antoine waiting to turn left onto Westview)
- A 'treatment'/color and texture on luxury cars that often actually does look good and has been mentioned a number of times (sort of looks like gunmetal paint mixed with a popcorn ceiling) on an AMG G63 in the parking lot between the Bunker Hill Lowes and the Bunker Hill Best Buy. She was stopped at the edge of the driveway heading out, talking to someone outside the passenger door with the window own. She looked more like a homeless person that someone one might think of seeing behind the wheel of a G wagon.
An ‘art car’ Jeep. It was parked in frond of a house on a messy ‘hippyish’ about two acre lot in a sort of mixed use area (fronting on FM 529 between Barker Cypress and Greenhouse in the Houston metro). Not only was it the only ‘art car’ Jeep I’ve ever seen, I think it’s also the only ‘art car’ I’ve ever seen where the art was on the tires (the tires were painted various colors). The canvas top was also painted.
A 2023 Chevy Traverse. Still had the temporary paper plate. It’s the first 2023 Traverse I’ve seen. I like the taillight update.
- A current body style 4-Runner with a storage basket on the roof, a ladder in the rear so one can climb up to the storage basket, and a snorkel exhaust.
- A current body Silverado RST with a hard shell, New York (state) commercial license plates, and a Texas A&M sticker..
- A white Suzuki Grand Vitara in remarkably good shape.
Anybody want to buy a 1971 Plymouth Duster? It drives well. I drove it today, representing an interested out-of-town buyer. But I would not recommend it because of the rust concerns at the A and C pillars. If interested, contact Joe the seller. See the picture with Joe’s contact info.
At least it was a fun drive for the short 2 miles I drove ‘er today.
