Agree.
303 Protectant.

That and I just dont like the greasy wet look it leaves.

Armor All is so 1970s.

My vote is for 303, too.

Don't even mess with armor all , way to slippery and greasy. The shine doesn't really hold. I use regular wax in a warm car to pop that clean shine. it works on smooth plastic and vinyl , wipe on wipe off.

303 cleaner is also overrated and overpriced, but then again is dumbed down for the consumer in mind. If you really want to save and have the same, if not better results, you have to use what pro detailers use

Meguiar all purpose cleaner concentrate, you can only get it online and it comes at a gallon for $15-20, you can basically make 100 bottles of 303 cleaner, meguiar off the shelf cleaner, etc for similar price and it will be even more effective at cleaning than whatever off the shelf product you can get, reason being that manufacturers dumb down the off the shelf version so they dont get sued if they make them too strong and dumb consumer ruins something in his car

The 303 protectant is legit

It is not a good idea put shine dressing on your dash, the reason is because most of them are made of silicone, thats why they can claim that it last weeks, they cannot be diluted with water and as such are difficult to remove

You have to remove this shine coat every week before applying another coat. If your cleaner sucks, and you dont remove it 100%, what will happen is that dirt will get trapped and now you put another coat of shine, thus creating sandwich effect

In the end, your dash will get ruined and it will turn brown just like tires that you see at parking lot, thats because both tires shine and dash shine are made of the same ingredients, mostly silicone

Same happened to those tires, people using these tire shine, which 99% off the shelf are made of silicone, thats why they can brag it last weeks, they dont remove it completely from the tires, apply another, creating a brown goo that not even the strongest degreaser will remove completely

I haven't used anything on my cars in about 15 years.
Besides a slightly damp cloth.

I've never used Armor All or any other product like it in 47 years of owning vehicles. My vehicles have done just fine. The 14 year old GMC Sierra I sold two years ago still looked new inside.
