Ahcher

If you are happy good for you. Personally, I would run from any 3 year old car with 70K miles on it.

Yeah that's what I was thinking, I saw a 2015 Ram 3500 with 190k miles on it for 27k which was
Interesting. I think it should be good for at least the next 4 years without having major complications

Congratulations!
You don't drive that much, so don't worry about the mileage.
The older luxury cars I owned had that many miles or more on them. And they were much more than 4 years old.

As for the payments, just make your payments and after 18 months pay it off.
I've never had a loan with a pre-payment penalty.

I have to admit these A6's are nice looking cars. Not sure how this compares at 48k miles

I like the Panamera personally and looking around have seen Miami have some very "cheap" luxury cars for sale by comparison to the Raleigh area.

That only has a 2.0T though I really like the color. The one on mine is kinda dull, I might paint it something bright next year.

Almost died again in the A6 lol, I really have to get used to it soon. A Honda Civic merged into my lane while I was on I-95 doing over 80. I slammed the brakes and drove on the shoulder and the Civic got back in his lane. I took it out on the snow and it handled fairly well.

Mazal Tov on your purchase. Not the vehicle and amount I would spend if I were in your shoes, but I hope you are happy with your decision. What effective APR are you paying? I'd encourage you to now shop around for a lower APR to save money on the financing. Credit unions, local and regional banks are probably your bet. With a car like this you will definitely want to have an emergency fund established should it require any costly repairs. Finally, make sure you are maxing out your 401K at work ($18k) and also contribute to a Roth IRA ($5500). You'll be very glad you did several years down the line.

Enjoy your new set of wheels.

I didn't finance through the dealer, my current APR is 2.5% and through Capital One.

That's my credit union's rate.
You may be able to get a little lower, but there's a pretty good chance that it won't be worth the trouble.

Congratulations Archer! Glad you finally found your perfect car. Sounds like you got a really great deal on the financing as well. The A6 looks nice. I'm not really much of a sedan sort of guy, but it's a nice car. You should enjoy for a few years.
