For a while, it seemed like people would buy those as the showoff or luxury SUV when they wanted to spend $50K, but I dont see any on the road anymore.

Now I see more Expeditions, Tahoes and GMC Yukons, which already have insane sticker prices than I do a Esclaade or Navigator.

I see some Escalades but barely any Navigators and if do see one it is an old one. But as you said the Yukons can still go near 60-70k and Escalades may approach 100k.

Now it's the Range Rover that seems to be the luxury SUV of choice along with the BMW X5

Escalades are still around where I live, but the Navigator was never a contender in the luxury SUV space here.

Most common luxury SUVs around here are Mercedes and BMW, followed by Porsche, Lexus, and Range Rover, and I'm starting to see more and more of the new Jaguar F-Pace. Then it's probably the Escalade, followed by things like the Acura MDX, Infinitis, etc.

.
Guess it depends on where you live.
Here we got lots of that new design Escalade mixed in with all the other stuff (RR, Cayenne, G class Mercedes). It hasn't died out at all.

They sold 39k Escalades last year alone, (it's best year ever) and are on track to turn in similar numbers this year.

Escalade is very relevant. They still sell about 1500 a month.
Obviously they sell a lot more Tahoes / Suburbans. They're cheaper but a long ways from cheap.

I see new Escalades all the time, too, although in NYC if it's a black one, it's likely to be a car service. I cannot recall seeing a new Navigator, or even the smaller MKT, recently. They are all in the pickup line at my nice's and nephew's schools, along with the RR, Mercedes GLS, Toyota Land Cruiser/Lexus LX etc. for those who need the three row SUV, along with the Acura MDX, Lexus LX/RX, etc. Cadillac is well represented, but I see more of the Infiniti QX80 than any Lincoln crossover or SUV.

Don't let them fool you with exaggerations.
MSRP at the dealership starts at $71k. I know several people who have bought them in the 60s.

I work at a hospital I still see a few Escalades but way more people have the Porsche Cayenne, Lexus RX 350 BMW X5 and Mercedes ML350 if they are doctors or nurses and want a luxury SUV.
