Only in True positraction which is very rare because you have a hard time making turns.
I stated it poorly. I did not mean they should both turn at the same speed -- not necessarily at all. What I meant was that it is not normal for one to be locked up and the other can be turned.

1. Never work on a car that is up on jacks. You should have timbers under it, not jacks or jackstands.
2. If you do not know that a car has a differential that does this, maybe you need expert help standing at your shoulder.
3. Sounds like your differential isn't differentiating or a brake is locked up. Get help.

Hello everyone and thank you for that warm welcome my name is Arthur and i have a 2005 Toyota Tacoma prerunner access cab my question is what does it mean when you jack up the rear end of the truck and i take off both of the back tires and you can't spin the drum what could that be i know thats not normal ?

Its normal if the truck isnt running and is in gear, in park, or you have the emergency brake on.

On my Mercury Grand Marquis - had the caliper lock up (mostly as could still drive car).

Had both calipers replaced and all went fine.
