Apparently some still remember when these Korean cars first came to North America.
Hyundai.
KIA.
Daewoo.
Samsung Motors never made it to North America.
For the youngsters here the early Korean cars of the 1980's or thereabouts were low cost junk.
FWIW, it's now 2018.

I'm thinking of Eugene Levy as the car salesman in National Lampoon's Family Vacation on the Wagon Queen Family Boxster. " You think you hate it now, but wait until you drive it."
Except that if people would drive the Soul, they'd come to like it.
