I have a 2002 Acura RL wiht a 165,000 miles. The car is in pristine condition and runs great, except for the oil leaks. The car has a real main seal leak and an oil pump reseal leak. Is it time to sale the car? Or there any additives I can add to the oil to stop the leaks?

Don't put in an additive to stop oil leaks. Get the leaks fixed and drive it another 100,000 miles or more.

Either fix it and drive it or keep it topped off with oil and drive it. It’s a front drive so the rear main is gonna be a pita
Personally I would go get some quotes for repairs from a shop that specializes in Acura’s and fix it. Probably $7-800 repair.

Depending on how bad they are, it's most likely fine to just regularly check the oil and top off as needed. It's not like a leak is going to cause any damage unless you let it run down.

Of course...give a little to a mechanic and be done with it.
Seals wear out and so do pumps...so? But, that's just me, cuz i like my cars.

I was concerned, if the oil leaking could get on the exhaust and cause a fire. The estimate for the repairs is about $1200. For the real main seal repair, I was told the transmission would have to come out to make the repair.

This.

OP, those additives cause the seal to swell and "stop the leak". However they don't just cause the one seal to swell, all seals swell. That weakens the good seals and can cause even more leaks down the road.

No more oil changes. Just keep adding, it drains itself.

You can try some high mileage oil like Valvoline MaxLife, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t. I use it in any vehicle that’s over ten years old, regardless of mileage. Seals harden and get brittle as they age, and the additives in HM oil help to soften and plump them up slightly.
