I just filled my old Buick wagon - $62.30 - fortunately I only fill it once a month. My commuter pass went up to $69. I pay this once per week.

Our country is being looted but I am not certain who is doing the looting however out great friends and allies, the Saudi Royal Family. is near the top of the list.

Considering that we are sort of acting like an empire, why don't we just completely conquer the oil regions in the Middle East and steal the oil for our own consumption. The Saudi army should last about 3 days and we are already in Iraq. Isn't that what an empire is for?

Well gosh, it's about time we had a thread in this forum discussing gas prices, because we just haven't beaten this dead horse into a pulp yet!

I'm in a similar situation - obtaining a fuel efficient and reliable vehicle to essentially replace an old SUV. I'm keeping the old SUV though for those times I might still need a 4wd vehicle (the occasional snow storm or flood - regional issues I have to contend with each year). The cost to insure the old SUV isn't much, and it still runs, so why get rid of it is my thinking. If your SUV still runs, you may find out as I have that it is worth more to you than to someone else.

C'mon Drover, people have a right to complain. Cheap gas is guaranteed in the Constitution. Look it up.
