I believe it has the same motor as the Maxima/Altima. They can go pretty good with mods on a track but I wouldn't buy one.

Hard to find one that is clean, with low miles for under $25K. Many sell for ~$30K
The Terminator Cobras were fast but not great looking, not then, not now.

They are crazy fast and look awesome in the wide body trim in both the Charger and Challenger. I'd buy the 2 door. Doug Demuro loved it:

It's a HUGE stretch to say either the Challenger or the Charger a sports car. They are huge, heavy, poor handling, full-size sedans and coupes.

But it would be good if there is a new chassis coming out next year, they are ancient - in going with this thread, the current models of each ARE 00's cars!

But no other production sedan can beat it in the 1/4 mile, dodge has always been about speed on the track not on the street. And if they bring back the Demon Challenger witch i like better than the Charger. Dodge has the Best retro design sedans on the road imo. Now i wonder if Ford will try to beat FCA with a different Mustang i love the muscle car competition brings back the days when i was a teenager in the early 70’s.

These are so effing cheap on cargurus because they break down easily. Wouldn't buy one, just lease it. Mustang V8 engines are much more bullet proof. Chargers are all over car listings, you an get a 2014 for $8k or less.

S2000 is nice but it's overly hyped up because it's a focused track car. But doesn't mean it's better than a modern day Miata. It's more of a preference. I wouldn't mind having one but not at the price people want for even an AP1. You can get a C5 Vette that will blow away even modded S2000.

I wouldn’t say poor-handling, but they’re definitely on the GT end of the scale rather than on the Colin Chapman side of it. Personally I like a good GT car more than a hardcore sports car, which is why I get uppity and remind folks that it is indeed on the sports car spectrum

Same line (VQ) different version. All of Nissans V6s from that era are related including the 4.0 liter in my Frontier. That doesn’t mean I have a Z motor in my truck tho

Frankly, that line of motors is one of, if not the, best lines Nissan ever built.
