$95.00 for running a stop sign. The fee for traffic School. I got off on a 95MPH speeding ticket in Utah, but was nailed a few hours later when the hwy stopped and a small town suddenly appeared. $86.10. I was on vacation. God I love National Parks!

I have a cousin that tried to, and succeeded in, outrunning the law on a motorcycle. Problem was when he got off at an exit, Mr John Law was waiting for him. He got a ticket for 157 in a 65, along with various other citations. I don't know what he paid outside the ten days in the klink. His old man made him sit on the porch and watch him dig a hole with a backhoe, push the bike in, and cover it up.

Well, lets see...

In 1992 I was driving on US 219 north in PA to visit my dad, and I came up on a NJ car in the slow lane that wasn't going slower than the 55MPH limit, so I went to pass. As I did, NJ sped up and kept speeding up. Well, I wasn't about to let me mess with me, so I gunned it and passed him. Just as I got back into the slow lane I passed a PA trooper who promptly pulled me over, not the NJ car, going over the limit by now also, who was behind me! Cost $133.

In 1996 I left my home at 4:30 am to go get my brother in law for work. Now, the road I live on goes down a 14% grade hill for 1.5 miles. The road had one lane closed with a concrete barrier on one side and the cliff/drop-off on the other and curved along the side of the hill. They had traffic signals at the beginning and end of the construction zone to alternate the traffic going through it. Well, it was 4:30 am, I didn't see any lights coming up the hill, so I went through the red light at the top of the hill and drove down -- only to be pulled over by the twp. cop who was right behind me (didn't see the lights). He was flipping out!!! He was like, I could have ran head-on into someone coming up the hill, yada, yada, yada. Well, the fine was for failing to obey traffic control device in a work zone and was doubled. Cost = $390.

As an aside, I didn't tell the family about this ticket, but about a week later, my name comes over the police scanner - to verify my address!! Wife and father in law heard it and needless to say, it wasn't exactly pretty.

In 1998 on Fathers Day (my dad had just died in April) I was in a bad mood, was driving a back road to my home at the time and didn't care what speed I was going. Got stopped for doing 57 in a 35. The cop who pulled me over was the cop who handled my dad's traffic accident. He dropped it to 45 in a 35 and fine = $135. As I was sitting there waiting for the ticket, who should happen to drive by going the opposite direction? My wife and kids! Needless to say, I heard about it all over again.

Haven't been pulled over since.

While driving on the Bullrun last year I got hit hardest in NJ. Three tickets from one cop. A reckless, speeding, and illegal pass. After hiring an attorney and all expenses it came out to over 2k.

That was the "tv" version. They weren't allowing any drivers from the real Bullrun to compete for the show. I was there but as the lead flag girl for the spike show. Were you there? Have any photos? Here is one I have...
