Bluesville is also ok.

Radio classics is also fun sometimes, old radio shows
36 or 35 which is Modern Alternative stuff, kids can listen to it. Sometimes they ask for modern junk and I’ll put on Pulse for a bit till I can’t tolerate it.

Back in the day, on Sirius radio, you could favorite a song and anytime they played one of those songs it would Albert you and you can jump to it. I thought it was a neat feature.
I tried that when I first got the satellite radio. I then realized how many songs from the decades actually sucked. We fondly remember the great stuff forgetting how bad most of the songs really were.

Well when that comes on you have to head back out and go cruising.

Mostly 60s and 70s channels, the Bridge, and on a long road trip we will sometimes listen to a comedy channel.

I would end up with a speeding ticket or a serious accident. Great long open road on a clear day with no traffic and with this song I’d be at the max speed my vehicle could handle.

Gotta love Red White and Booze. Just something about hearing a couple country songs from the 70's to 2000's, then an old Hank song from the 40's followed up by Motley Cru. Hardly has any of that modern day pretend country so its pretty much classics with a bit of classic rock thrown in.

I no longer have it, but I gravitated towards The Spectrum a lot.
Old Time Radio or whatever it's called was another one.
Some of the cleaner comedy channels were okay.
Royals baseball in the summer.

What I don’t like is the sound quality which is very compressed. Some of my favorite stuff I usually stream from my phone using Tidal app.

After a while, I noticed I got into a patterns of listening to the same stations. This becomes annoying after a while. Anyhow, just a rant I guess.
Still XM over Fm or am anytime, no matter the cost. Never listen to a commercial, not in car, not at home.
Curious how others use Xmas or what interesting patterns people use.
None of them. I listen to my own music collection 100% commercial free and without interruptions.

Sometimes I listen to the Radio Classics channel. They play old 30 minute radio plays with voice actors and sound effects. You have to catch it on the half hour to get the beginning of a story.

I normally listen to Channel 73, the '60s channel (used to be Channel 6 - no idea why it was moved) because that's the era I grew up in. Got to the 70s occasionally. The Bridge isn't bad.

Yes, compression is an issue. I suppose they'd have to upgrade to a better satellite to improve the quality and I doubt that's happening anytime soon.
