Oldest car I've ever ridden in: 1959 Plymouth Savoy. I have very vague memories of riding in it as a child in the early 1960s. I also remember riding in my aunt's 1950's Pontiac station wagon. Maybe a '56.

Oldest car I've ever driven: 1967 Dodge Coronet. Slant 6, 3 speed column shift. No power brakes. No power steering. Vinyl bench seat. Rubber floor covering. My dad was a minimalist. I remember the day when my parents bought this. I learned to drive in it on our farm was I was 10 years old. We also had a 1967 Fairlane wagon, which was one of the first cars I drove on public roads. 289 V8, white with fake wood on the sides.

rode in 1912 Model T.

Drove later 1930s stakebed truck. Do not remember the maker. It had a 3 speed column transmission that was harder than hell to drive, but I just drove it around an apple orchard and once to a cider mill (Stayed tot he side of the road because i had to go slow, both because of the condition of the truck, the size of the load and the fact I could not drive that thing worth a shat. this was either 1979 or 1980.

Good question! I don't remember.

I have very long-ago memories of stretching out in the back of a two-tone green and white station wagon. This was early sixties; I have no idea how old the car was.

My first car (used) was a 1970 Ford.

Longest owned was my (new) Mazda B2000 long-bed pickup @ 13 yrs, 8 months.

1st Runner-up was my (used) Chevy Aveo which I drove for 12 yrs, 4 months.

They were both great vehicles and met untimely ends.

I've ridden a horse - now that's old school. Oldest car I've ever ridden in was a 1962 American Motors Rambler, and the oldest car I've driven was a 1966 Pontiac Catalina.

Oldest I've driven is my dad's recently-purchased 1957 Chevy Bel Air. Surprisingly smooth ride but otherwise a bit of a handful to drive. It wouldn't have been my choice for a weekend fun car, but I'm glad my dad is enjoying it.

My great uncle collects and restore Model Ts, I've probably ridden in one of them as a young child but can't remember.

Oldest car I know I rode in was the '52 Ford Victoria my parents owned when i was a toddler.

I got my license in the early 1970s, and the oldest car I ever drove was a 1962 Buick LeSabre, which belonged to an elderly widowed neighbor. I used to mow her yard, and do other handyman-type tasks for her as a teen. She wasn't driving it much anymore, and I helped her with jump-starts and taking it to get the battery recharged.

Today, I usually don't have to travel far to see a 20+ year-old car on the road, but when I was younger, that was a rare sight. I don't recall seeing vary many pre-WWII cars being driven on the road, even when i was a child.

I rode in a Concord coach (stagecoach) once. Not very comfortable.
