I regret that I never drove a pre-WW2 car when there were plenty around. We had a 1938 Pontiac until I was 12, but I never drove it. I drove a '47 Chev on a 15-state road trip.
Oldest I rode in was a taxi in Monterrey, Mexico, back when they wouldm't license new cars for cabs -- a wonderful policy. It was from the 20s. Neveer found what makr, but a reall snazzy car, not a Ford. Mom had a friend she'd go shopping with a Model-T, which I never rode in. Rode to school a couple mornings in a neighbor shop truck, with a windshield sticker thay said "City of Chicago 1932". That was only 14 yrars old. Rode 1,000 miles in a '41Cadillac, but didn't drive. That might be the only Cadilladc I ever rode in.
Rode in a couple of Packards.
I was in Uruguay when there were still lots of old cars. 1920s, daily drivers, just used cars.

Great thread idea.
I think the oldest car I ever rode in was a 1953 Nash Metropolitan (and that was in the 1970s). One of my best friends growing up……their next door neighbor was a car collector and it was his.
I think the oldest car I’ve ever driven is a 1963 Galaxie 500 2 door. A roommate of mine was dating the sister of a friend of ours (this was in the 1980s). Something went wrong with the car and her dad felt it was unsafe without really looking into it. The dad sold it to my roommate for $100. My roommate fixed whatever was wrong with it, and drove that car for a long time. The car lasted longer than the relationship .
Back in 2011 I was asked to perform a wedding on a farm not far from me. As it happened, there was a huge storm, with lots of flooding, a week or so before the wedding was scheduled, so it was difficult to reach the wedding site. I drove my own car there, but then I was ferried up to the site in a very old, like World War II vintage, Jeep. Not exactly a comfortable ride, but memorable.
In 1988 was driving my 1984 Buick Skyhawk coupe with 2.0L and 4 speed manual. My girlfriend was my passenger. She told me to pull into a Lincoln/Mercury dealership. There on the used lot was a red convertible 67 Mustang with 289 V8. Salesman offered me, a 19 year old stocking shelves at Target, a test drive. I enjoyed the chance but realized that I was going to be too tempted by that power. Also I was still paying on the car I was driving. Salesman even offered to take my car in exchange and the payments remaining wouldn’t be any more than what I was already paying. I walked away from that deal. I had already gotten a speeding ticket with my 86 hp engine economy car, what would I get with a convertible V8 Mustang? Those brakes scared me. Didn’t know if they were like that in those years or if they were faulty.

Not sure of the model year but rode in a Model T known as an opera coupe at one time. Picked up and drove a '40 Ford sedan up the NJ Turnpike once for a friend who hadn't yet learned to drive a stick, I was surprised at how comfortable it was, how nice it drove, and loved the old flathead V8.
