A close "race."
I went with the Grand Prix. I would have picked the Eldorado but I prefer rear wheel drive.
My favorite Grand Prix is the '69 with the 428/390 hp engine. Would run low-14s with 3.90 gears.

None of the above. I had a 1971 MB 250C with a manual transmission that was one of the sweetest cars of the era; followed that with a MB 280CE ... and wished I'd never sold the earlier car. The later model had an automatic and climate control, neither of which functioned as seamlessly as the earlier car's manual tranny and manual heater/A/C controls.

By comparison, all of those domestic "personal" cars were huge boats ... none had the handling or balance of brakes/performance of the 'benz. Of course, any of them would beat the 'benz in a 1/4 mile ... or to a gas pump.

That 72 Monte is actually a 71 model...72's had the parking lights in the grille.

This one's a hard one. I like the Monte, the Grand Prix and the Rivieras posted. I also like the Satellite and the Charger though i always thought of them as mid sized cars. Not sure why there's a Caddy Eldorado or a Lincoln on there, to me those are full size luxury cars.
