I used it in my ARGO amphibious 8 wheel drive. It stands up to heat well and never gave me a problem. Some of the other oils I used gave me that "burning oil" smell on occasion which I felt was a sign those oils were breaking down due to the heat.

In a Diesel I would run Rotella or Delvac I would prefer Rotalla. I with SAE 30 in my small engines. In my F150 I run Motorcraft Synthetic blend.

I am looking a F250 with a 7.3 non turbo... If I do land it, I will use Shell Rotella and be done with it. I wouldn't consider Amsoil... Mainly due to their sales people or who they use as distributors. They remind more of snake oil salesmen who can't be trusted. If I don't trust the sales force, how can I trust their product?

I run Amsoil in my Harley. I switched once and she ran about 7 degrees hotter. For my scooter its Amsoil or nothing. Its good stuff, chrome engines run hot, you do what needs to be done to remove as much heat as possible.

The thing I find, is those who do use Amsoil seem to love it. I am skeptical.

They make a twin oil filter kit too . Know someone that has one he uses 0-30 say is looks as good at 15,000 miles as when it was put in he is nearing the 250 thousand mark .

Its excellent oil as well as their oil filters but its just too hard to get it. If anyone is smart enough to open a Amsoil store, where you don't have to buy it thru a pyramid scheme, they will be instant millionaires.

I want to drive to my local auto parts store(Advance, Peps, Autozone) or to k mart, Target, Walmart to buy it.. Can I? No, and it is NOT easy to get. ...
