I Amzoil for decades finding that I got the best results when I changed out the filter and add one quart to replace the oil in the filter that recharges the additive pack in the oil. I also learned the hard way NOT to switch an engine over the Amzoil late in the game. Amzoil is a powerful engine cleaner and it will clean all the old carbon left by mineral oil out and turn and engine into to a not stop oil burner!!!!!

Well respectfully, the auto industry disagrees with you.
Either todays engines can deal with poorer quality oil for longer or and frankly, far more likely, oil filters have evolved since the 60s'.
