Now I am not saying we should ban the devices all together but rather place an extra registration tax on cars that have such devices, to discourage their use. Maybe like 500$ per year.
While we're at it, let's put a 100% surcharge on people who have screeching kids in any public building; restaurants, grocery stores, department stores, etc.
If they don't buy anything, they must pay a $50 annoyance fee.
The only thing I have a problem with is the boom systems. I know if I can hear their music from my living room that they can certainly hear it inside of their cars.
I most certainly don't think we should tax or get rid of loud exhaust BUT all these loud bikes are getting annoying. Especially now that owning a Harley is in and every Tom, Dick, and Harry owns one. I give Exhaust, Engine noise, and jakes on big trucks a break though since they can't help it, even though most people don't care.

Well the exhaust is what makes the Harley loud. In your post you said you're giving exhaust a break. Sorry, felt like being a smartass .
