My #1 rude flight experience was many years ago when I was a graduate student with long hair, and a drunk man next to me kept pulling on it, petting it, and playing with it. Flight attendant couldn't do anything about it since the plane was completely full. Admonishing drunks doesn't help much, either.

These days they would have cuffed him, landed the plane, and taken him off to face Federal charges. Some things have gotten better when it comes to air travel.
Well I love flying but I fly no more than twice a year.
What I hate:
1. Children screaming and roaring - like seriously, what are you doing on a plane? Get off!
4. Folk putting their chairs back.
1) you may be surprised but some parents with these screaming kids feel the same way you do. There's only so much you can do as a parent. What if they're going to Disney? Should we drive 22 hours instead of flying for 3? Our kids have never been loud but I feel for the parents who's kids are. The parents with an infant that cannot be consoled. I mean, so long as the parents are trying to calm them. That's all they can do.
4) Extremely uncomfortable sitting in an upright position for 2+ hour flights. I don't know how you can have an intolerance for that. It's not like they do it to purposely annoy you. They paid the same ticket you did and it wouldn't be right to NOT do something based on OTHERS' likes/dislikes - it's not like they're standing up and dancing around or playing loud music. What would annoy me is if they ignored the requirement to keep it upright during takeoffs and landings.
Flew once from Seoul to Beijing via Asiana. I was sitting on the aisle seat. After landing, the passenger next to me opened up the bin, pulled his (heavy) luggage out and the luggage nearly hit me on the head. Luckily, he supported the fall with his left hand.
The flight attendant shut that one down very quickly! Still, the damage was done and it was pretty intolerable. She got some very nasty comments from those around her--and rightfully so.
None of this stuff happens when I fly. Then again if I want drink service or food i had better make sure to pack that in my flight bag. I will comlain about the bathroom though, a hand held urinal that if on a long flight I want to make sure I have brought it with me.
