Years ago (when they first invented film), I took some 8mm of one at a McGuire open house. That film is around here somewhere. I really should get it converted cause the film won't last forever.

As a Tower/GCA operator at Carswell, I had daily opportunities to control the ole Peacemaker. Big and beautiful even on a radar scope. And later the B-58's there at Carswell but in the CAA/FAA at Ft. Worth ARTCC by then. So sad to see Carswell close down as AFB....

Every one of these things built must have created an analogue gauge shortage. That is a lot of stuff to track.

Now the computer monitors everything and tells you its working or it is time to eject.
