You are cherry picking his weakest argument. He had others that I can assure you few college students can explain. Like why isn't a difference between flying with the rotation of earth as opposed to against it?

Try to have an atmosphere all around the world with a flat earth...

The gravity would make the atmosphere look like a sort of giant half sphere all around the gravity center of our flat earth, on each side. Ridiculous

The atmosphere the plane flies in isn't static, it's moving at about same speed as the ground because of friction caused by viscosity of the air.

Not understanding things doesn't make reaching an incorrect conclusion by ignoring other evidence insightful or courageous, it just means someone is chasing a conclusion and has a poor grasp of scientific process.

Looks pretty round to me.

And I suppose all those satellite photos on the weather channel are all faked up too. Man this is one HUGE conspiracy. LOL

KISS. Nature does not like complexity. nature is as simple as it gets. And, in that simplicity, is its grace and genius. Not in complex, exquisite, sometimes outright malignant theories cooked by official science.
Oh, and I am not a flat Earther. Earth is hollow.
Reading this thread is like watching one of those Jackass type video disasters -- you know it's a terrible thing and you know you shouldn't watch -- but you just can't tear your eyes away from the tube. It's amusing and appalling at the same time.

But if the earth is a spinning disc, wouldn't the forces be radial? It couldn't be a sphere, I don't know what it would look like.

I think this is exactly what the flat earth people are doing.

Watching people who don't understand the science they are complaining about people not understanding.

No, I'm asking a very obvious question. The one that stands out in this silly theory.
