If the earth is flat, where are the edges? How thick is it? Why is there air around us?
If it's flat why is there any "down?" Why am I even participating in this stupidity?
It's an idiot test ............................. please don't fail
Can a flat earther explain to me, that if the earth is flat, why we haven't found, or at least seen the edge?
I can't believe this is even a conversation in 2017...
You are cherry picking his weakest argument. He had others that I can assure you few college students can explain. Like why isn't a difference between flying with the rotation of earth as opposed to against it?
I found this video of this engineer that "proofs" using planes that the Earth is flat. I just can't fathom this...Anyone want to chime in...This is embarrassing to the engineering community

The atmosphere the plane flies in isn't static, it's moving at about same speed as the ground because of friction caused by viscosity of the air.
Not understanding things doesn't make reaching an incorrect conclusion by ignoring other evidence insightful or courageous, it just means someone is chasing a conclusion and has a poor grasp of scientific process.
[/i]Now, what is simpler? Very nice ellipsoid of totality passing on "flat" earth (which is really not flat, rather not a ball.), elegant in its SIMPLICITY or, a complex, neck twisting "explanation" of degrees this or degrees that and if you look at it from that angle and then from another angle?
KISS. Nature does not like complexity. nature is as simple as it gets. And, in that simplicity, is its grace and genius. Not in complex, exquisite, sometimes outright malignant theories cooked by official science.
Oh, and I am not a flat Earther. Earth is hollow.
Reading this thread is like watching one of those Jackass type video disasters -- you know it's a terrible thing and you know you shouldn't watch -- but you just can't tear your eyes away from the tube. It's amusing and appalling at the same time.

I think this is exactly what the flat earth people are doing.
Watching people who don't understand the science they are complaining about people not understanding.

No, I'm asking a very obvious question. The one that stands out in this silly theory.
