I had no idea this was coming. I know the crime has gotten worse but he was not the one I thought of as one who was not doing all he could. I will be honest with you I am not at all found of our mayor. I really liked our last mayor though. I lost faith in our current mayor when she made the comment that she did not view the courts as a revolving door system. Having done evaluations for the city courts for 13 years I clearly saw a revolving door system and I was part of the reason the door was revolving as quickly as it was.

Does our mayor really think that firing the police chief is going to change our crime problem. What planet is this mayor from ?

So now Baltimore is up to eight, that is eight police commissioners in the past twenty years. How in the world can they expect to make any progress on anything when the chief's office is a revolving door? And it's quite obvious she fired Davis because Baltimore is not going to get Amazon HQ2.

Very simple game. Pugh wants to be reelected. There was a book written by a retired Baltimore homicide cop titled You Can't Stop Murder. He was probably right. How do you stop murder, Chief?

Isn't DeSouza the 4th police commissioner since the Freddie Gray arrest?

I watched Davis at night. He drive around throwing trash out the windows. He uses the center turn lane as a passing lane. He cuts people off and thinks nothing of it and I think the Baltimore City State's Attorneys Office is considering charging him with 342 of the 343 murders. When are people going to accept responsibility for their behavior. Never if they can get away with it.
It is the Baltimore City mentality.

What bothers me is that so many people that have grown up in Baltimore don't think acts-know-as-crime are a problem. They seem to see crime "victims" as deserving of whatever happened to them because they did something wrong, or didn't fight back, or whatever. As for the criminals? That is just a job like any other. When "criminals" get arrested or hurt on the job, they are deserving of public's sympathy. After all, they are just doing what a Baltimorian is supposed to do - law abiding people are the problem.

I agree with you not only in theory but in action. Do you realize that the kid who brought to school and was suspended for a year for doing so is now eligible for Social Security Disability. It is a Democrat thing. What surprises me more is that Baltimore is overly Democratic and the Democrats have not done a damn thing for the working class for over 50 years. I can't stand Trump personally but when was the last time Democrats cut taxes. Democrats are more likely to raise taxes than cut them. And when was the last time a Democrat did anything about crime or raised the income of the middle class. The Democrats are good at bull****ting everyone. I have been a loyal Democrat For years but to me they are the do nothing party and need to be gotten rid of. There I ended that sentence with a preposition. I wonder how many Baltimoreans know what that means.

How are you going to accomplish anything without a Tax Base. Cutting Taxes makes no sense.
I am not sure how many police officers there are in Baltimore. But they have to police the streets, and you have a city of several hundred thousand people. One officer to every 5, 10 thousand residents. I am not sure what the actual number is.
Than you have an economic situation not just in Baltimore, but nationally that is not working for many Americans.
I will say that I think the FAR LEFT has swung the door open for alot of this.
And it's a game played by the irresponsible media that is only concerned with making money, and know that people thrive on this type of reporting.
I don't even know where to start with that last comment. The Republican party wants Government out of the way so the investor class can do what ever it wants. If they are the party of do something I like to know what it is outside of lining the pockets of the wealthy.
