Where is the best place between Trenton and Ellsworth to get a few pies to bring back to NH.
Or between Ellesworth and Searsport?

If you're willing to drive a bit further to Southwest Harbor (which is nice to visit in any case), I can vouch for the blueberry and triple berry pies at Islandbound Treats there as truly exceptional. She's got a little shop right on Main St, usually sells out by early afternoon. The filling is kind of loose, and juicy compared to ordinary berry pies, but there is more fruit flavor, so it's a win. Five star average review @ Yelp.

P.S. and before you turn around, grab lunch at Beal's Lobster Pier, which is only about a mile away at the end of Clark Point Road.

I've been told that the Helen's restaurant in Ellsworth is "different" and not as good as the one in Machias. Not sure if same ownership? Anyway, the Machias location by far has the best BB pie I've ever had.
