If one were to move to the Bangor area where would one purchase middle of the road furniture?

I can't seem to find any place like that online. I can only find either 1 or 2 really expensive places or discount warehouses.

Thanks in advance!

Hey Audry,

Try taking a look at this website:

Bangor Furniture Stores in Bangor ME Yellow Pages by SuperPages

There are a bunch of stores on here that you may find helpful. I scanned through and noticed that there were a bunch of places on the list from out of state...but there are a lot of stores up in that area. I think I saw at least 10 or 12 that were up there (Tuffy Bear, Dorsey, Affordable Furniture Showcase, America's Mattress, etc)

I've never bought any furniture from any of those places myself so I can't give any good first hand info on any of the stores.

Hope it helps!

You might try Merrill Furniture in Ellsworth or Tuffy Bear on the Pushaw Road in Bangor.

And isn't there a mattress place in Winterport? I dunno... I swear I drove by it coming and going to Bangor from Searsport.

Your right CoastalMainer, there is a place on Route 1A in Winterport. It will be on the right hand side if your heading down into Frankfort. It is a little bit after Ridge Runner Vet.
