@sinatras - So what? He broke up with his fiancée and went with another girl. Happens all the time. Maybe he realized she wasn't "the one." I don't see how this makes him a bad person.

Always enjoy the Nats-Marlins matchups.

RIP Jose. A Cy Young award was inevitable and you will be missed.

As I said before, I am embarrassed and astonished at the outpouring of adulation over this idiot. Here we have nothing more than a typical dumb athlete being irresponsible and killing 2 other people in the process. Not to mention impregnating a woman out of wedlock. If he had survived he would currently be in jail on manslaughter charges. This is not someone whom should be held up as a hero, role model or icon. He's just another young, badly raised guy who lived too fast and paid the price. He's not the first one, and he won't be the last one.

Instead of fawning over this guy, they should be holding him up as an example of how NOT to behave.

Fernandez will be missed. Age 24 is just way too young to die.

By the way, all baseball fans, not just Mets and Marlins fans should check out this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mV3hZYg_SRg

You can tell Gary Cohen, Ron Darling, and Keith Hernandez all were very emotional on the ceremony, especially Hernandez and it sounded like Gary Cohen was grieving.
