Steve Bartman? That was 13 years ago. Who cares about that now?
The Cubs deserve the championship as much as anybody. They had the best record and won their playoff series. And they're the better team.
The Bulls won in the 90's, the Sox in 2005. The Blackhawks have 3 Stanley Cups since 2010, but so what? If you have a good team, you win. Period. If you don't, you lose.

Now that the Cubs have won the NLCS, all you see is everyone everywhere talking about Bartman. So clearly people still care.

Umm....wrong! I heard him mentioned once on TV and here. Not "everyone everywhere". LOL.
Bartman got vilified, no doubt, but saying that the Cubs don't deserve a championship because of something that happened 13 years ago is ridiculous, and nothing more that bleeding-heart baloney.

Yet he is still rubbing you the wrong way due to the tone of your posts. You can never truly forget or forgive him.

Well it's hard to forget the guy but I never felt I had to forgive him. Why should I? I never blamed him for anything to begin with. He wasn't the reason they lost that year.
Steve Bartman would have received similar reactions elsewhere too. It just happened to the Cubs.
That said, Go Tribe!
The real baseball fans of Chicago had their moment with the White Sox. Time for some joy for a rust belt team.
The "real baseball" fans of Chicago ARE NOT FROM TEH SOUTH SIDE. Your ignorance on the subject manner should best be kept to yourself, you're sounding utterly ridiculous. The "fans" of the Sox STILL cant fill their stadium, and most were bandwagoning idiots.
To suggest the Cubs don't deserve a World Series win is strange. Anyone who lingers around the AZ forum knows your disdain towards all things Chicago, so we shouldn't be surprised with this dumb post of yours. But here I am, responding to yet another one of your anti-Chicago posts.
Andy Warhol said ............." everybody gets their 15 minute of fame "
Too bad Steve Bartman wasted his on such a stupid, careless, costly act.
