Yeah, it's really simple actually. The Cavs scored more points than the Celtics, thus they won. One man does not make a team.
I'm confused because you don't double team any player on the cavs team. So i'm stunned someone was getting open shots when there is no lebron to dish it out
I think alot of it had to do with Mike Brown. They didn't push the ball up court during a game, but walk it up. They could've gotten alot of easy points that way. Also, many stood around and watched Lebron do his thing. I didn't watch the Cavs/Celts game tonight, but i suspect they didn't stand around and probably got alot of transition baskets.
I didn't watch that game but Boston probably put all their energy into last nights game with the Heat. I've noticed that when a team has a back-to-back, they usually play one game full out and the other not so much. You also have to factor that Boston is full of vet players so I'm sure there wasn't a big emphasis on them beating the Cavs given the fact that they played a very physical game less than 24 hrs ago.
Being an older team, Celts no doubt conserve their energy for when it counts. It counted against the Heat, so they put their best foot forward to gauge themselves. Cavs w/o LeBron are no threat, so it was a "rest" game.
It's known as an upset but the Cavs are a HUNGRY team with nothing to prove, and that makes them a great potential spoiler team.
