It's becoming clear that Lebron is going elsewhere next season. The latest news of Izzo turning down the Cavs for the head coach job just clinches it.

So, where is he going? Chicago? Miami? NY? I still think the Bulls are doubtful, only because that situation is so similar to the Cleveland situation--a very good, potentially championship team, but a new coach with no head coaching experience. Why go to Chicago for less $? He can accomplish the same thing in Cleveland without having to deal with the change.

I'm admittedly a skeptical Knicks fan, but I have to say it's starting to look good...

I don't think that just because Izzo didn't sign with the Cav's says that LeBron is a goner.

The track record for college coaches jumping to the NBA is not good, especially in the first couple years.

Izzo had a good thing going in Michigan, so why leave it?

Also, the Cav's needed a committed coach, one that would coach the Cav's with or without James...Izzo's heart just wasn't in it.

LeBron always said he would like to see a head coach that had NBA player experience. So the quest goes on.

I would think if he was staying in Cleveland, he would say who he wanted to coach. And if he had said that he wanted Izzo (seems unlikely, but possible), then Izzo would know he would be there. So he would have taken the job.

My guess is that Cavs ownership has not heard a peep from him, despite efforts to get his input on coach, GM, etc. It's June 16th, 2 weeks to go. He's gone.

It's becoming clear? You mean it hasn't been clear for the last seven or eight months? Who has made even the tiniest suggestion that James would remain in Cleveland?

I agree that LeBron is leaving the Cavs. They said this morning on Mike & Mike that Izzo wanted to coach the Cavs, but he wasnt going to say yes until he sat down and talked to LeBron one on one. Well when Izzo came into town I guess "Prince James" was to busy and sent one of his minions to talk to him instead. If LeBron was serious about staying with the Cavs he would have taken time out of his day to sit down personally with Izzo and talk to him. I guess he was to busy poppin' bottles in VIP in some club in NYC. I used to be a huge LeBron fan, but as of late not so much anymore. Am I the only one who is getting turned off on this arrogant pre-Madonna LeBron because of all this crap about him this summer?

He has not reason to stay with the Cavs.

He will never win a championship in Cleveland.

I think Miami, Phoenix or Dallas would be the perfect fit for him.

Phoenix definitely doesn't have the cap room unless Amare walks and if Dallas did sign him, they wouldn't be able to afford to resign Nowizki, so neither one of those are good fits because without Amare or Nowizki, those aren't good teams.

Miami, Chicago, NY, LAC are pretty much the only options.

If Lebron leaves, he's going to the Bulls.
