This really does deserve a thread of its own so let me go start one.

The premise of the thread is busted. Enjoy the playoffs.

I called it 4 weeks ago. It was something about this team that just didn't look right as the playoffs approached.

... or it could be the fact that the Spurs are old and lost to a younger, better team?

But the point I was making was that their seed did not match how they were playing and I was right

You're right.

He's been on the Lakers' back for much of the year. Now what does he think that his most beloved Spurs team are out of it, possibly for good?

Where are all the people who didn't even think the Lakers would beat Denver in the playoffs a couple of seasons ago?

If the Lakers don't win another title for the next 20 years after this season, that would be fine with me.

I just want Kobe to get his 6th ring despite the trials he has been through since the Colorado incident.

Spurs are an old team, they start good but when they get to the Playoffs they don't have enough gas.

I know what you mean, I'm beginning to lose count, there are so many LOL. But I must say, this time of the year when the playoffs are at full swing, I have a tendency to get very greedy and want one more

You hit the nail on the head. The Grizzlies exposed the Spurs. Duncan is no longer a dominant player. Richard Jefferson is turning out to be a dssapointment and the Spurs lack of size and quickness got exploited by a Grizzlies team that consistently played at a higher energy level.
